Please let me know if you found a way to get the iPad and printer to find each other. I was thinking that getting the Brother model you have (the QL-720nw) might be a solution to this fragile mess, but it looks like you are having the same issues. Tech support suggested looking for something on my router that might isolate wireless connections (AP Isolate), but I found that setting and it wasn't on.

I can even pull up the web page for the printer on the iPad.

When reset and put back on the wireless network the printer can't be found again by the iPad (but the iPhone and the computer have no problems). Tech support had me make an ad-hoc test network between the iPad and the printer, which did allow me to see and send a label to the printer. Oddly, the iPhone could see and print to the printer, but the iPad could not ('A compatible printer could not be found.'). Recently, I attempted to use iPrint&Label on a wireless network.
